ny recomendations? i want to get some better injectors... more horses and more fuel... but i don't want nything to big.. cause i got n auto n don't wanna blow it... oh n i got boost n egt gauges on the way!!!! :5:

Upgrading to bigger ones either way could jepordize your transmission lol. A good injector I like to recomend is a 370 new era. I believe they are a 90 horse injector. I've got em and the marines. Don't go with the marines if you would like to have clean power. A little afc tuning and it will be a pretty respectable rig IMO.

do they have the correct spray pattern for a 2nd gen?? its 145* i think?? i dont want the injectors washing out my cylinders! :argh:

The new eras are the correct spray. I've had marines for a while and never had a prob washing out cylinders. Oil never smells like fuel and it will roal coal pretty hard. This info is my oppinion, go with the new eras imo :U:

The marines actually came in the truck when I bought it. I got a very good deal on my new eras for 200 but are used slightly. I think they are close to 400 new. Hit up our sponsers and check on prices

My buddy is a performance dealer so I got core waved lol. Usually they want your old ones or pay a core fee

The core fee is just that they want your old ones back so they can rebuild them and sell them as upgraded or performance injectors.

I would give a vote to upgrading the trans before performance, that way, when the trans is built then you can do whatever and buy it all once. But either way, I would give a vote to DDP stage 1 or 2's. I have the stage 2's in my truck and it seems to like it, I did not build this for all out performance but a decent cruiser and I think I will have that.

if you want a clean injector with a lot of power and low egt then get the DDP 90 hp injectors, THEY ARE THE BEST ON THE MARKET... lenny at dynomite diesel performance tests every injector. they are pricy but are amazing

yeh... dont have to much money right now.. just bought the truck... n im only 16 so moneys really tight! :argh: so im gunna go with the 370's... thanks tho.. oh djwhonda92 how much smoke is ur truck puttin out... i just ground down the fuel plate tonight to a #100 and it smokes when u first push the throttle.. but then nothin... not even the white stuff :booo: ny sugestions??

a 100# plate alone is enough to kill a tranny i have help a buddy put 3 trannys in his dads company's trucks. (all stock) finally have him talked into installing built trannys from now on.

So just watch it or you will need a tranny sooner then wanted.
