delivery valves

I have 191 delivery valves right now I also got a set of full cuts . I was wondering how much difference there was between them. With the set up I'm gettin an average of 18 mpg. It fuels hard now with a decent amount of smoke. It pulls hard. Would it benefit me that much to switch or not . Also I got a pretty stout turbo .nothin to smash 40 psi . Any help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks

I DONT THINK IT'S GONNA REALLY BENEFIT YOU TOO SWITCH!!! :c:

I was thinkin the same. Think it would be too much fuel ? Or not enough to notice?.my turbo.is a hx35 but got a big hot side wheel . Kinda laggy but figured more fuel = faster.spool. I don't know if plate adjustment would take care of it or not

really 191's are full cuts and you wont notice a difference

With your 370 injectors I would stick with the 191's. Full cuts will really only add fuel early and create A LOT of heat. Unless you're running the truck for competition, I would stay where you're at. You can squeeze alot out of the 191's and some good tuning. I've had 181's, 191's and an old set of JR Atkins full cuts. Seems to street drive best with the 191's. BTW, what turbo are you running?

I think I said in previous reply it was an hx 35 with big hot side. How big, not sure. But its actually an H1C with a big hot side wheel. Thanks for oppinions

What have you done as far as AFC tuning, rack travel mods or holders? Personally, I'd get some more Air to it, and then tune it. You've got plenty o fuel as it is, you won't gain anything by going with more.

Laser cuts in the smaller 160 and 175 pumps seem to work really well.I have set in my truck.I think they would run hot in a 180 and 215 pump....

I got starwheel adjusted forward a little and plate is stock position but #5 that's it

My opinion would be, get yourself a bigger turbo, something along the lines of a 64/14, keep those injectors and DV's, then tune your pump for better low boost fuel control, and give yourself more rack travel for more fuel up top. Also shim that 3k GSK up to a 3500.
Thats just what I would do. Sounds like the rest of your set up can handle it, and you could have a really wicked truck, but the turbo is really the limiting factor right now, even if you have the hx40 comp wheel on there, if you are seeing 40lbs of boost past 1600RPM, you are running it out of its map. If you have the 35 comp wheel on there, you are running it out way faster. Thats just my opinion take it for what its worth, but I think a lot could be gained from a turbo and some pump tuning, and really at not a lot of extra cost.
