Anyone replaced your ball joints?
I have never tackled this one. Do I need a press?
Let me know if any of you know about this. I have got to get ride of this Death Wobble... Not TOO bad yet. But bad enough...:madd: |
I used a good hammer to get it out. gettin the thing back together once the joint started spinning took some time but a C-clamp pressing on the wrench and the bottom of the ball joint brought things together.

Piece of cake. It takes about 30-45 minutes per side with air tools. Getting the hubs out is the toughest part. If they're not rusted in you'll fly through it.
I rented a ball joint press from Auto Zone. It costs $100 to rent. You can keep it if you want or return it and get a FULL refund. |
