delivery valves vrs injector size question

currently run 5x14's and .024 delivery valves with a 62/71/13
runs great can tow but a pain.

within a couple weeks I will finally have all my compound parts. question is will the new system work just fine the way it is or benefit more with stock delivery valves and say 5x16 or 5x18 injectors. the goal is to have a bit more tow happy system without sacrificing power.

I have no experience with very large injectors on a street 160 pump. the truck is very much still a truck and will be north of 650hp by months end. its well north of 500 as is. I want to clean the bottom end fueling up. I need tow egts/smoke cut down.

thought or experience is greatly appreciated.

when the dv's were originally installed the truck was suffering from some higher rpm stumbles and I do not want these stumbles back.

youve had it dynoed? or you think its 500hp? anyways, a 160 pump is going to have a bit of trouble making it up to 650 id think unless your really good at tuning. what compound set up are you going to be running? ive heard of the 160 pump stumbles, i had a 175 pump but never had this issue. id say if your worried about aftermarket dv causing stumbles but dont want too much fuel loss id go with a set of 181's to be safe. they offer plenty of fuel but they should hopefully keep it from acting up. as for injectors some 5x16 sac would likely help offset the smaller dv a bit and help you get a bit closer to your goal
