Gov spring

So I did some experiments and deduced that the previous owner of my truck put 4k gsk in. Whats the chance he did valve springs too?

Pop a valve cover and check.

There is a visible thickness difference between them and I am sure someone on here must have a picture of the difference.

Just google here. And since I didn't try, I'm not too sure how that would turn out.

Here they are, I think they aren't stock

Yup.. those are stock ... the 60# spriings look more like a beehive spring

LostSoul71 07-15-2014 08:51 PM

My 60 LB springs were not beehive like at all, however I agree those look stock for the reason that there is so much space between the individual wraps. My factory ones had significant space as those do and the 60 LB springs were much tighter once compressed.

Ok so next question, what would be best 60# or a little heavier
