Cruise Control Issue
 

When i set the cruise control on my 2004 2500 Cummins, it will set initially once i hit it, but will cut out after about a half mile or so. Once it cuts out, i cant set the cruise again until after i turn off the truck. Turning the cruise ON/OFF while driving doesnt work to fix the problem and let me set it again. I took this problem to a Dodge dealer, and they replaced the vacuum for the cruise control, but that has done nothing to fix this. So im looking for input or anyone who might have had this happen before, before i take it back to the mechanic.

It has been a long time since I read about this...but I want to remember its got something to do with the brake pedal switch being improperly adjusted? Do you have any codes being triggered?

No there aren't any codes coming up. A few mechanics ive asked dont have an answer for me. They dont understand why it only works after i stop and shut the truck off, then restart it again.
