06 coolant leak

Anyone ever encounter the little coolant hose by the turbo? Mine started to drip a little and I was thinking bout tightening up the hose clamps first.. but thought bout changing the hosr completely since its right next to the turbo.. anyone ever change it? Called a stealership and they said you have to take the back section of hard pipe completely off to change a 3-4 f***in hose which i think is b/s

Mine was leaking just enough to get a wiff of antifreeze. A couple turns of a nut driver and all is well. I will add that I was loosing antifreeze too, the problem is there were no wet spots.

I tightened the hose clamps on mine. That fixed it.

Silicone hose that connects the two sections of hard pipe? It only takes a minute to remove the hard pipes. I completely eliminated mine...I used a 5/8" heater hose and needed a 5/8" barb x 1"MNPT fitting at the pump...no more multiple sections of pipe/hose and its away from the manifold.

Mine is doing the same thing but the hose is leaking from 3 small pin holes. I think this time I will get my tubing cutters and cut the hard line back enough to make it easy to work on and replace with 5/8" radiator hose.

mine was leaking too hose clamps tightened an no more probs, but the hose shouldnt be that hard to change. could probably get it on without taking the hard line off too. i bought the hose just havent changed it yet

I am pretty mechanically inclined but I must say that little piece of hose put up a pretty good fight. I thought I would have knocked it out in five minutes but that wasn't the case. Although I didnt completely remove the hard line just loosened it on the bottom side to give me some room.
