If your airflow is a little low as well it sounds like a recirculating door that broke. It's a common problem and easy to fix if you are mechanically inclined.

Also you may want to have the shop that recharged your ac to check pressure. There's a possibility that the compressor is going bad. But like I said if it feels like you have less flow on full then it's most likely that recirc door

Your a little low on freon. If your drivers side is cold and your pass side is not as cold put a shot of freon in it! These systems suck due to low air flow in traffic or city driving the condensor gets to hot causing a over pressure which makes the relief purge.
I put a slim line fan on the condensor to cool it down seemed to help the problem!

With out knowing the pressures you are kinda shooting in the dark, I would get a guage set they will pay for them selves fast.

I agree you mey need to replace your dryer too. I have heard its a good idea to do it every 2 or 3 years. then have a good vacume pulled and the correct ammount of R-134 put in. If yheres too much the system will not work right. And if you look under the passenger side dash you will see the fan assembly. 3 screws and a plug later it will fall out and you can see the door up in the hole.
