New truck what should i do maintenance wise

Like the title says i just bought a new truck. Its a 2006 3500 4 door 4x4 with an automatic transmission. What should i do maintenance wise besides change the oil, oil filter, fuel filter and maybe the air filter. Truck did have a light programmer on it for a while but was taken off prior to me getting it. It had one of the injectors replaced about two years ago with no problems since then. Thats the only major thing i know of that it had done. Thanks

by that i'm assuming you mean change the fluid and the trans filter right?

Transfercase- drain and fill with ATF 4. And both differentials with limited additive in the rear

I would get a 2 or 3 micro fuel filter so you don't have to buy a $2000+ set of injectors.

Anything else? Can any transmission shop adjust the bands? Is there a 2 micron filter for the stock location?

dmaxkiller 06-13-2012 04:18 PM

^ no you will have to buy a aftermarket lift pump which isnt a bad idea either and then use a 2 micron filter on it. fass or airdog are really good. even a raptor pump isnt bad..
