Dropped second gear, list of upgraded parts since going into the trans?
Hey guys, I have a 2006 cummins dually, 2nd gear seems to have gone out on me about 85% of the way, will pull the truck enough at low rpms to get me to 3rd but no further on acceleration. My question to you guys is this, since im going into the trans to repair and replace, what do you recommend as a HAVE to have and a WANT to have components? I drive it daily, i have k&n turbo foreward air filter, silencer ring removed(dont think it really makes a difference for this here), 4" exhaust to 6" stacks for better exhaust flow, and topped off with a edge juice with attitude. i tow a 16' car trailer once a week and a 17000 lb fifth wheel several times a year. billet input shaft? valve body? torque converter? clutches? brand? thanks

TQ Valve body "constant pressure" front band and billet anchor TALK TO DAVE!! He will guide you to what you really need! No need for a billet shaft for what you do! Goerend Transmission Incorporated - St. Lucas, Iowa |
Preciate it. I've seen his name mentioned in several forums. He must be pretty good. Thanks !!
