Any OEM replacement should work fine!

In the stock housing Baldwin PF 7977 is best its 5 micron where Fleetguard is 7 micron.

this is a highly debatable subject but i have always liked Baldwin. i hear the higher end Wix are supposed to be good too.

IMHO wix filters are ok but middle of the road quality for the price you pay. And I know someone is going to post "I have run napa/wix filters for a million years and my pappy and my great great great great grand pappy did too...never had an issue blah blah blah" Good for you, I am not saying wix filters are bad, IMHO there are better options out there.

Part Detail

Based on the beta ratios the 33585XE is 95% at 6 microns and 98.7% at 8 microns. The Baldwin is 98.7% at 5 microns...so your splitting some awfully fine hairs between the two but at the pressures a CR runs...I would want the better filter of the two.
