Batteries dead on demand

I have an issue on my 04 cummins. Sometimes the truck just wont start. The truck starts uo like normal. The next start sometimes 5 minutes later it acts like the batteries are dead (new batteries). All the lights are bright. Maybe wait ten minutes it will start right up. I drove 2 hours last night shut it off unhooked the trailer went to start it and nothing. Im stumped?

Check all of your grounds.

As we speak. Truck seems dead. Batteries are full and alt. is charging. However no start. Grounds batteries cables and cable ends are all new. Im starting to think maybe its just the starter. However i could be way off.

Last month, I had an issue where only my right side battery tops would pop off. So I replaced the batteries , alternator, checked and rechecked all the grounds and fusable links, and it still did it. So I took it to the dealer and all it was was that the ECM needed to be flashed. It took about 30 min and the $95 diagnosis fee to correct it, and no issues since.

I wouldn't suspect the starter for acting like that unless it's got alot of miles on it.
