Looking for my first diesel, test drive tomorrow.

Going to look at my first diesel tomorrow. What would be some quick and easy things to look for? Does this sound like a decent deal? Its a 2006 quad cab short bed 4x4 with the manual transmission big horn with 120,000 miles. It's looks to be completely stock but it does have a hitch in the bed. It's at a chevy dealership and they are asking 23,000.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If its all stock best bet would be to kelly blue book it, and make sure before you buy it you check things like carfax, history reports are very handy, start it up and let it run and listen for any knocks , test drive it and make sure the clutch isn't slipping, and after the test drive before you shut it down listen to the motor hood up again with it at normal running temp, test out the 4x4, make sure it engages and disengages with out any problems, get underneath it, check out frame etc, just basically go over the truck with a toothpick and make sure your investing your money into something you wont regret.
