06 steering pump bracket failure

2 Attachment(s)
Is anyone else having trouble with failure of the power steering pump bracket? Mine has failed twice in the past year. The last time the truck was in a bit of a hole and i turned the wheel and it got hard to turn then pop no volts no pwr steering etc cause the serp belt got thrown off because the pump bracket craked and allows enough flex that the serp belt gets thrown. Anyone else have a similar problem? Any ideas as to why? Could the pump be putting out way to much pressure and the by pass be not working? See attached pics of bracket.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I started mine up one morning and after a few second of letting it idle I heard a weird noise and it ended up being the belt coming off, I got to looking at it and the bolt that mounts it to the block worked its way out! I put it back on only to find out it had busted a seal when it popped off so I put a new pump on and now I've went through 3 belts and 2 tensioner assemblies and it still squeals like a bird is trapped under my hood! It sounds like crap! I'm thinking I may have bent the bracket bc the Lilly for the pump looks a little cockeyed than the rest of the pulleys. Dodge has a new one for $21 but I just haven't had a chance to get one yet. Have u found a solution to ur problem yet or did u find any more info?
