? To much boost

I just installed a Quadzilla Xzillaraider w/ Commander. I've got all hooked up except EGT probe and trans temp sensor. Did a test run and produced 59 lbs of boost. Everything I've read says I should only be producing approx 40 lbs.
Is this a problem or does it have to do with not having the EGT installed?

If your reading boost thru the commander I don't think it is reading right. If you want consistent readings an analog gauge is best.

Cerberus60 your right, I checked all connections again and found all to be good. I just turned the key on and checked the gauge and it was reading 12lbs. I bought the unit used, I'd say I got screwed. I will contact quadzilla to see if they can fix it.

The software is not correcting for ambient pressure correctly. Your 59 lbs is about 45 psi of boost. Still too much on the stock turbo but more in the realm of validity.

ehh ur good up to 50 psi, thats where you'll risk blowing up your turbo. not that you'll be running at 45-50 psi constantly

I've seen the stock turbo's on the Cr's hit up to 60 psi with a boost fooler and still hold up.

You are out of the effective map range of the turbo and doing nothing but injecting super heated air into the motor. Just because you can hit more boost doesn't mean it is usable or good.:c:
