Tranny Flush???

I have an appointment set-up tomorrow to have my tranny fluid changed. I always assumed there was a filter that needed to be changed when you drop the pan. The place I am taking it said most vehicles only have a metal screen that doesn't have to be replaced. What this place does is pump the fluid out without dropping the plan. What do you guys think of this?

never flush in my opinon drop the pan and change the filter and fill it back with fluid all the flush does is get the gunk floating back through the transmission

Told like a preacher, I have seen so many trannies go to the distance without a flush and just regular maintenance. But soon after a flush, those same trannies just crapped out.

I've always been warned against it, even by some "buds" at dealerships they say its horrible.
