Too much turbo?

Ok guys, I need some input. I have an opportunity to pick up an Aurora 4000 for $1,000.00. It's new-still in the box. I'm running an afe cold air, 50 horse sticks, Airdog 150, edge e-z and 4" exhaust. I also tow a 11k trailer on occasion. will it work?

It would be AWESOME as the atmospheric turbo in a compound setup. It'll spin up a bit slower even with your injectors. Once it lights, you may have to go back for your trailer that'll still be at the stop light! Play it safe and sell it to me for $1100. :tu:

It CAN work, but getting it spun up under load would be the biggest issue. Anyone else???:pca1:

So...bite the bullet, and go for the 3000? Didnt like that trailer much anyway.....

Your smoke output when trying to spin that turbo while towing will block out the sun! Yeah I agree with the hooker but sell it to me for 1150.:tttt:

get a little better tuning and the 4k will spin nice , i spool a 71 all day , i have the help of stick trans tho

I am also sporting a 6-speed manual trans. with 4:10 gears. I don't mind rollin' coal on occasion, but do not want to have that as the norm. bad for the e.g.t's and dirties up the oil. (it is fun to see the Prius drivers gag though) The stock whistle will have to do 'till I do a bit more research-was thinking something in the 64/14 range would work. Happy 4th to all, and a special thanks to our Veterans. Enjoy your freedom- it came at a high price.:c:
