What's goin on guys? This is my first diesel, I've done my homework and learned a lot but I still have a few questions. Drivin to work yesterday I was messin a round pushin the truck on the highway but not beatin it too hard. I had my edge on level 5 and got it too defuel pretty easy. I've been watchin may egt's now that I've had the tuner on for about 2 weeks and they get pretty high cruisin up hills about 800 to 1000 degrees. (Damn hills in PA, I don't think any part of this state is flat...ha ha!) I have it set to defuel at 1250 degrees. Being that I haven't towed with the tuner yet I'm worried I'm goin to be defueling all the time. I realize I won't be towing on level 5 but it seems to be like this on every level. I was wonder if I can raise temp at all. I'm not really sure what the max temp can be without causing any problems. Any input would be great, thanks.
