04, with edge, new 70hp injectors, new fca, new filter, etc, on stock setting when i get on it hard going up a hill it will burp a lil and throw lil puffs of black smoke once or twice for a split second, then cel light and 0088 code shows up...any ideas?!?!?! im running outta things to replace haha..

 

Take the edge off and see what happens! You may have a bad pressure control valve on the main fuel rail.

 

good idea thanx man, does anybody have an idea about a "poor boy" rail pressure measuring device? imma i&e tech so electricity is my friend...
