rebuild manual or info for a 2004.5

Hi everyone!
I am going to attempt a rebuild on a 2004.5 Dodge 3500 that had the motor pulled with head off when I got it. #6 cylinder needs to be sleeved and new piston installed. The speedo shows 140,000 miles, original owner says it's right.
This will be my first cummins rebuild and I am looking for the best manual for doing this.
Any advice is appreciated.

Cummins manual's are generally the best way to go but rather expensive. If it were me i would look at having the block o-ringed while it is out, Cheap insurance for future mods. If you can't find one i do have an electronic manual for an 05 Dodge. Let me know if we can help, because if you do decide to o-ring the block you will need to use a custom HG.

I am going to stay stock with this build (or close). I think I just found an electronic manual on line and will down load it.
Thanks! I'm sure I will be seeking a lot of advice !
(after further thought, I'll check with the machinist to see how much the cost will be.)

Our machinist typically charges 200-250 to oring and surface a block. The gasket is around 180-200 for a Genuine Cummins gasket that is modified to fit the o-ring'd head or block.
