2006 dodge wont start

ive got a 2006 dodge and i filled up with diesel 2 days ago ran it about 20 miles right after filling it up and killed it in my driveway and now the only way to start it is with eather. I have tried everything i know to do been to two shops and no one seems to know whats wrong with it. once you get it started it runs normal but just wont fire up. ive replaced the fuel filter, pressure relief valve on the fuel rail, unplugged the cp3 and still nothing. I had a dr performance chip on it i removed it and didnt seem to make any difference. any ideas what i could be in for? thanks, colt

Sounds like bad fuel, brother ...... you got any water in your fuel?

That happened to one of me trucks. I tightened the injector tubes and it fired right up. because it takes high pressure to fire the injectors. I started mine off starting fluid for a while. also you can look at one of my other post and see how to put a fuel pressure guage on the lift pump for less that 15 dollars and check that. How to check fuel pressure for Under $20 has pics on how I did it

i figured bad fuel but i drained the fuel out of the filter housing and seems clean. ok i will try that i really appreciate the advice. im just hoping its something simple

wont start 06 cummins

My 06 is in garage currently because it ran fine but when I shut it off it would not restart unless I waited 2 plus hours. after being at 2 dodge garages i took it to a real diesel shop and they told me what was wrong in 5 minutes.I have contamination in my fuel (less than 10 micron in size) and it keeps my injectors from closing properly and the fuel pressure in the rail bleeds off.Thats the best I can explain it I dont know enough about the injectors other than I am now putting close to 4500$ into mine.A good set of filters is a must as I now know, not just a lift pump.Hope yours is something else.
