transmission problem

Hi
My 2005 48RE has a intermittant shifting problem. Last year I was towing the 8000 lb camper for 200 miles in 108 degree weather and it started shifting back and forth. I pulled over and checked fluid levels and started out again. It would start malfunctioning at about 45 mph and would continue up until about 60-5 and it would act normal. I got to camp and the next day took it the dealer who didn't find anything, but he reflashed the computer. On the way home it worked fine until the last 4 or 5 miles. After this episode it run pretty much fine except for sometimes I would notice the RPM would increase about 200 for just a couple of seconds. If i let off the throttle slightly it clears up.Then a couple of weeks ago it was 15 degrees and I started to town with no weight on it and it did the same the for about 1/4 of a mile. I have put on 24,000 miles since last summer. Any ideas?

check all your grounds.... These things do some funny stuff because of bad grounds... Also get your batteries checked my brother in law had same prob on his 99 shifting in and out of lockup because of bad batteries

Grounds look fine.
I had the transmission flushed and new filter put in. Hasn't messed up yet.The fluid was horrible! The dodge dealer said not to flush it because of the "solvents" they use to flush it,but they used the ATF+4 to flush it, so i did see any reason not to go ahead and do it. Seems to shift smoother.Time will tell if it helps.:bat:
