Help White smoke and oil consumption

Ok so recently we lost the motor in our 06 cummins. the rings in cly #5 were basicaly gone. So we had the motor rebiult and all and put it back in. But ever since then it blows white smoke and burns oil but it doesnt use any coolant. weve checked all over and there is no oil leaks whatsoever. but where the turbo is bolted to the manifold there is a bit of oil. We pulled the turbo off and checked it doesnt look like its leaking oil. but the exhaust housing has a few little cracks in it. What could be the cause of the burning oil? And should the turbo be replaced? any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Btw the new motor has around 9000 miles on it.

You could have a bad valve seal or guide/did they do a valve job on it?

Rings not installed correctly or not broke in properly. run the snot out of it with regular oil. Injectors tested and or replaced?
