New Batteries Now No Start
Brand new to the forum and brand new to dodge. Truck is a 2006 Cummins. I replaced both batteries the other day. Truck fired right up no problems so my wife and I decide to go get a bite to eat. About a mile away from the house the truck dies and will not start back. It will turn over but will not start. The check engine light flashes when I turn the key on. I tried to check for codes but get nothing. Done the key on-off 3 times, all I get is ------- then it says "done" Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Check for fuel pressure coming into the cp3(injection pump) Could be a couple of things. One the lift pump, another possiblity is a locked up integrated control module( fuse box under the hood).

Just got it figured out. The ground wire was loose going to the ecm. :jump:

Also really clean those new terminals and cables - crazy things happen with bad grounds. Also remember most new batteries are not fully charges so hit it with a slow charger overnite. I found out it does a better job individually to charge each battery separate with the cables off.
