My lift pump went out on the side of my fuel filter housing and I replaced it with a stand alone FASS fuel system. Now it will crank but wont start until I give it a shot of starting fluid. It runs great when it starts. Where do I go from here?

Did you bleed the air outta the lines by cracking the injection lines? Cycle the key so the pump is pumping fuel and pressurizing the fuel system

My truck is a 2003 common rail. I have blead everything, checked for leaks, changed the fuel and water filters 2 times. It's getting fuel to the injectors but no signal from the ECM to fire the injectors. I'm thinking maybe the FCA in the CP3 or the pressure sensor on the fuel rail is bad. If the CP3 was bad it wouldn't run good after it started with starting fluid would it? This has been an on going problem for over a year and it's getting old. HELP!!

No. It's still doing the same thing. It would be a shame to have to replace the engine just get the truck to crank without starting fluid. This engine runs great when it cranks.
