Fuel Bowl Bypass

I recently installed an airdog and in the instruction manual it said something about for best fuel flow you can completely remove the fuel bowl. Is that correct and if so does anybody know /or have pictures or videos or instructions on how to do that?and is a blocked wastegate a bad idea?

Yes this is true, I have an 07 and I took my factory fuel filter canister off. I got a fuel filter delete from Diesel Power Products, and just hooked the 1/2" line to my cp3. Sorry i dont have a pic. at the time. Can get one if ya need.

I hope you added a GDP filter system while you were at it cuz the AirDog filters are worse than OE and lousy on water seperation.

Unless you are going for max power get a billet lid for the factory fuel cannister and leave it. It has a better water seperator than than the AD. The fuel heater is also a good thing to keep.

A blocked waste gate and 42 psi is a recipe for disaster if you have a stock turbo. A boost elbow and 35 psi is much better. Otherwise upgrade the turbo.
