Baldwin BD 7317 dual flow oil filters

Anyone here running these oil filters yet. Ive been running mine for a few thousand miles now and my oil definately looks cleaner.

I'll have to look up my filter dealer. :tu:

OK, here are the specifics for the BD7317:

Contains venturi type cone, fits Carrier refer units w/ Kubota engines, replaces Carrier 30-00463-00 and Fleetguard LF9028

Baldwin will run around $18 and the Fleetguard will run around $35.

It's the same length, diameter, and thread size as the LF16035.

Got one on the engine. Guess I'll see how she performs. :humm:

Afriend of mine just got his oil analysis back and the Baldwin had less turbidity than the Amsoil filter.

I guess I'm not familiar with that measurement. . . .

Huh?

Turbidity is the cloudiness or haziness of a fluid caused by individual particles (suspended solids) that are generally invisible to the naked eye, similar to smoke in air.
