LOOOww dyno numbers!!!!

I put my truck on the dyno at the ts drags this last weekend and it put up low numbers. 390/777. I am runnins a smarty/revo sw7. I know it isnt getting enough fuel beause it cuts out in the lower gears. If i get a lift pump will it bring these numbers up drastically?I dont have lots of $$ so a lift pump will be about as much as i can do. Since then i got a boost fooler and i didnt see much power change it just smoked a little less in bottom end and my boost didnt go up on my boost gauge. it just showed 32psi like normal. How do i bring these numbers up?

Drop it to a low sw # until you get a pump. Otherwise your gonna starve the injectors, and you'll be replacing them every 10,000 miles.

Get a lift pump and a rail guage!! You should be in the 40's with the boost fooler maybe take a look at your turbo for damage!? or a boost leak? ON second thought I think it's all fuel related! do the lift pump and then see what it does!

i'd get rid of your .5" straight pipe, that's gotta be reducing flow, just kidding, just thought it looked funny

Hows your rail pressure?

CumminsPower127 08-01-2010 08:35 PM

i need a rail pressure gauge. i have glowshift(shitty) gauges. does glowshift make a rail pressure? i cant afford to change all my gauges

also i have a guy to order and install an airdog 150 for 600$. it sounds like a real good deal considering the shops want to charge 1000+. i have concerns cause i want my shit done right. how complicated is a airdog to install?fool proof or hard?

reiser 08-01-2010 08:48 PM

not hard at all to install one... SHOULD be an 4-5 hour job. if you are at all mechanically inclined you should be able to do it yourself:tu:

im considering doing it myself cause i aint stupid ive just never done it before. you figure i could watch a video and then be able to??

ya i installed the airdog myself and it is still not fueling right. i was talking to a person and they told me about a fuell pump upgrade kit that isnt a replacement fuel pump but its a bag o parts that you upgrade your fuel pump with. anybody know anything?
