Crazy wipers!!!

Okay, I'm now officially sick of my int wipers... Low and high work great but any of the int settings have a mind of their own. They will work as designed for a few swipes, then act like they are on low, then stop, etc. It is all random and it's getting very annoying! The last thing I noticed was if you have the wipers off and hit a big bump (one of those "Ow! That kinda hurt" sort of bumps), the wipers will go for one swipe. Everything else on that stalk is working correctly and it's nice and tight. I have no idea what is going on. :s: If anybody could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it!

Dude you are not they only one.My wipers do the same thing.I thought maybe it was my smarty which is dumb. But ever since it has been on it they have been that way.I haven't tried with the smarty off.But i have no idea how to fix would love to know.:s:

Its your multifunction switch. i got mine for about 80 buck at the stealership installed. These trucks seem to have that problem. i have had it on both 05's,my 06, dads 05,06 so i would start there. Some guys say you can take it apart and clean it too but i never tried that i just bought a new one.

Do you have a part number for that?

That would be my thought too but there has to be some sort of relay or something to control just the int wipers... Everything else works fine on that multifunction swith (stalk) so I'm lead to believe that it could be something else. I would hate to drop $80 - $120 on a new stalk and still have the problem but I would be okay with dropping $15 - $20 on a relay and still have the problem!
