Noise and hot cp3???
 

I just installed the ats twin cp3 kit and the new pump is loud I don't know if that's the norm or not and it's also hot to the touch so if and one has and imput that would be great:humm:

Is your air dog 165 working? Put a guage pre cp-3 and see what pressure you have there. Sounds like it's starving for fuel??

when i first started the truck the high pressure senser (on the new pump) was leaking like crazy so i asumed there was plenty of fuel there also it only seems to be loud at idle

it should be quiet, and not hot at all, if the pump is cavitating it will be loud as hell. do you have the air dog hooked up properly to the pumps?

when my brother-in-law hooked up the ground for the air dog the ground for the cp3 controller fell off so its fixed now thanks for the input
