Where is the best place to mount a CB/scanner in the 3rd gens?

I want to mount my scanner, but cant find anywhere decent, not like my second gen.

Anyone have some pics of there install?

Good Call Johnny Chimpo! I like the way buckshot mounted his, and really, its about the only way you can mount it.

I dont have a center console like on his truck.

This is what I had in my 96 Dodge, and where the cup holders were, I had my police scanner.

 

I have mine mounted on the driver's side of the center hump...with the manual, it limits your mounting options. With it mounted near the center hump, you can run your wires under the driver's seat where there is a precut hole in the carpet for the seatbelt indicator and a body plug in the floor that you can use for the antenna lead.

I have a BC350A that I did have in my 99, it was mounted on the left hand side of the dash...if I would do it again, I'd probably mount it in the same location.
