Stock NO Aftermarket YES Your best bet is to go to a quick oil change place and have them do the flush on it! As far as putting Amsoil in ask if they can load their machine with it!

No flush. It'll load the cooler with crap that sat dormant in the transmission. Stick with ATF+4 cause it's synthetic for one and the Amsoil doesn't have the right friction modifiers in it.

Have the dealer do a service on it. All it entails is dropping the pan, remove the pan, adjust the one band, replace with a new filter, replace the pan, add new fluid, then adjust the other band.

Have any information on the band adjustments for those of us wanting to do this stuff at home?

I totally agree with the no flush, keep a long story short 2 flushes, 2 lost trans. within 6,000miles. Both on Dodge trucks.

IMHO the best way to do a service is to drain the pan, change the filter and adjust the bands.
