smoking at cold start
 
have gotten two opinions on why my dodge 3500 smokes at start. one says fuel injectors and one says its the pump. who to believe?

only when its cold. and its white smoke. once it warms up it runs fine. has 188,000

it's completely normal and even says in the owners manual that it will do that. It's just raw fuel not being burnt because the cylinder is so cold. White smoke can mean a bad injector or a few other things but, the fact you say the truck runs fine once warm tells me what I said above.
