Tranny bands
I just bought an 2003 with 48re. I asked the guy all the right questions and he had all the right answers, less than 2000 miles later I am standing on the side of the road with no gears at. My question is could he have adjusted the bands to make it run good long enough to sell to me. It had clean fluid in it when I got it and now its burnt to a crisp:s:. It showed no warning at all, I hate to think he screwed me but it happens.:bat:

Is it stock? Did it have a programmer on it? I'd say he screwed you good! Did you have a heavy foot?:argh:
|
maybe he serviced it him self and screwed up the band adjustment.
