Because common rails run tighter tolerances, they need a micron rating of 2-5. Most you can do without going aftermarket, is 7.

what brand of filter would put me with in the 2-5 micron rating. OH AND THANKS FOR ALL THE REPLIES FELLAS!

If you have a good NAPA near you they have a good one, and check and see if you have a Cumins dealer near you or order from Geno's
