Edge w hot studders under medium throttle
 

When I go about half throttle on level 6 it seems to studder, but it goes away when I give her the d***:moto:. Im thinking lack of fuel but just wanted to see if anyone else has had that issue. Its not the gear hunt between 1 and 2.

Does it do this in every gear or just when the torque converter is locked?

Every gear... It revs up about 200 then backs off,up then backs off.... yet my foot doesn't move. It doesnt seem to do it as bad when the tc is locked up. Im pretty sure that its not the tranny... thats it own prob:argh: cause it only does it on lvl 6. When I get on it it seems to have all of the power that it always has soooo....:pca1:

even under half throttle?? That would make sense if I gave it more. Not sayin your wrong just dont make sense. I appreciate it.. would a Bd lift pump fix it?

Mine did that when i had the Edge with Juice.. I didnt have the hot unlock either.. I got rid of it and went with a PPE which is rated for more HP and I can run the everliving dog poop out of it and it wont ever do it..

I dont think it was running it out of fuel.. Cause like the OP said, it ONLY does it at around half throttle.. But if you hammer on it, it doesnt do it.. I think it is a glitch with the Edge to be completely honest..

I also thought it was running out of fuel, but then i got my AirDog 150 installed and it went away for a couple day, and then came back... and then got my fuel pressure guage hooked up and it never budged..

Have you called Edge? Mine did the same thing on any level but the higher the level the worse it was. I would have the cruise on and it would surge like you're saying. I sent it back and they flashed new firmware in it or something and it stopped.

I only had up to level 5 and mine would do it on all levels besides stock, and as staarma said, the higher the level, the worse it got.. Ya i called edge on mine too.. It was going to cost me $100 bux to get them to do it, so i just sold the thing...:argh:

Yea it only does it on 6. I actually am thinkin about gettin a new programmer:rolleyes2:. So you like the ppe, I'm kinda on the fence with ppe and smarty
