Ok now I have a complex because I was reading about Diesel Power Challenge and some of the guys there were using the NV5600 and still running good times on the track and really excelled in the sled pull (which I expected). Is there a way to do that with my truck? Be able to pull mid 12 second runs out of it and still be able to sled pull? There has to be a way if there are other guys doing it right?

 

If you look at any of the fast trucks - they arent running standard trannys.

 

Ya I know the really quick ones aren't I just looked up the trucks but the standards are still doing ok on the track and good in the sled pulls. That excites me because I think I kind of want my truck to do it "all" you know? Tow good, but still go fast, and be a daily driver. The best of all the worlds I should say. Im not going out to win competitions and stuff, just want to compete to have some fun and see where my truck is once in a while.

a manny fast. all the " quick " guys have auto's. so
what. get the manny and learn to shift that bad boy.
