Turbo Time!
Alright, Iv now gotten to the point where I have plenty of fuel getting to the engine. Now is the time to get more air in with it. So far I have been looking at getting one of the BD's turbo, as to my research most people have been using them.
Question is, i'm not sure if I wan't to spend the money to run twins. $3000+ is really pushing it. I was thinking of doing the Super B and then add on a twin if I wanted. But will that push enough air? Or should I get the super B Special and be done with it? Thanks! -Austin |
i like my htt 64/71/14 quick spool same prices as the bd but better power and service i think

Did you notice a huge difference with it? Also I was thinking of the BD mainly because I can buy the single turbo then upgrade to a dual turbo for a little bit more.

l saw a big drop in egts and its spools very well with my 90 hp nozzles talk to the guys at htt they will help down the road with up grade plans i think that it can be upgraded to twins but it really helped big time ive seen 60+ psi out of it but try to keep it down to 45 or so till i get studs dont really trust the overtorque i did lol

Ya the overtorque method will only go so far :pals: I wish studs were not as expensive as they are though!
Also is there a turbo that matches with the stock one to do a twin turbo off of what I already have? And the only major mods I have so far are 90hp injectors and the Edge HOT. Will have a smarty stacked on top after I get a new turbo. What kind of EGTs are you seeing? I want to be able to keep it under 1300 at full power :5: |
