Tranny Fluid and engine oil change
Well I am discovering I love being a DIY-er! I have a few questions though. I know how to change the engine oil and am going to convert over to AMSOIL when I do here in the next couple of days but I also want to change the tranny fluid and eventually the differential oil to see if I cant get some better gas milage and get my truck to run a little better. My questions are, Can the tranny being low on oil or having old oil make it more difficult to shift into gear? Can I change the tranny fluid myself? Do I need to do some sort of flush to clean out the old fluid in the tranny, and finally, Where do you put the tranny fluid in? Thanks for all the help!

Yes you can change the fluid yourself. You running an auto or manual??
