He could just borrow someone elses and flash it and then turn it back to stock. The newest flash from the Smarty will remain but all of the performance stuff will not.

a lil update for you guys...The FCA we replaced when we did the pump..we had the relief valve sitting around so we threw that on just to rule it out... so now we are thinking it might be an injector issue...any good way to test them?

The only "backyard" way to do it that I know of is to get a lazer temp gun and check each port on the exhasut manifold for differences. The cooler one will be the problem injector but the engine has to be running. The only other way is to have the manifold off and watch each port. I would think for the problem to be that bad that it won't start you would have to have fuel in your crankcase and/or blowing a lot of blue/white smoke out of the exhaust even while cranking.

ok got the truck running...turned out to be a injector...supposedly you have to cap off the line where it goes into a head ( with a special tool )....so thats how we figured it out...
