problem with my 04 dodge 2500 cummins
 
not sure what it is but after using my truck all day i noticed that when i put it in drive the rpms drop for a second then go high and i feels like the truck wants to take off what can it be? i put it back in nutral and it the rpms go back to normal. thanks in advanced guys i know i need to do the service can it be that?

when you say go high, do you mean like redline or just like 50 to a 100??

that might be normal for these trucks to keep them from stalling im not sure but they do alot of crazy stuff to these trucks now a days:humm:

it runs fine but it feels like its defenetly not normal i have had the truck for about a year now and it had never had any issues what happends when the tranny fluid is low?
