Default Turbo Upgrade??

I am wondering which turbo upgrade to get. Right now I just want a single turbo that will work up to around 750-800hp. I will put the 90hp injectors when I put in the new turbo but I also want something I can upgrade to a twin turbo setup later down the road. I was looking at the Industrial Injection Silver Bullet or an ATS Aurora 3000. Im not sure how far the 3000 will go but I know the silver bullet will work for what I want and they make a compound setup for it. All help and opinions are appreciated. Thanks!

Can you elaborate on that? What's the difference between having a wastegated and a non wastegated turbo? What are the advantages and disadvantages of both of those options?

wastegate lets you controll how much exhaust actually spins the wheel by dumping the excess into the exhaust pipe, it keeps your boost numbers down. no affense and this is my opinion, dont go with ATS way to many people dislike them as do i

Dont you want to use the waste gate to create higher boost psi without damaging the turbo or is the waste gate just a safety measure on the turbo?

wastegate is basically a safty measure, you cant build more boost because of a wastgate, you build more boost because the wastegate is closed rather than open and dumping it into the tail pipe, i ran a 16cm non gated housing for a year and loved it, just have to watch the guages and know what the red zone for your truck is

i highly recomend industrial injection. there one of the best made, but again like everyone, that is my opinion. i have delt with holset stock turbo, HTT 35/40 hybrid, and my current industrial injection super phat shaft 62/71/14 and i love it the most. i have had great delains with industrial injection over time. theres alot of good turbos out ther, BD, Switzer (common s300) industrial, HTT, it all depends on you price range, size and performance goals

Ok I definitely think Industrial injection is the way I want to go because they have nice compound setups as well.
