hey guys just to let you know i took the speed sensor (crank sensor) off and clean the face of it. after reinstalling it the sensor, the tachometer begin work and responding much better than before. Before hand it wouldn't move unless you really got on it. Now when you hit the gas it move with the responds of the motor. Tt only for the first couple of miles it will read about 200 to 500 rpm off then it reads right on the money. I'm going to buy a new sensor and let ya'll know how it does.

if anyone finds something on this issue please pm me. the dealer said it was fine. trust me when the needle is sitting on the backside of the peg then there is some sort of an issue. but i just drive it everyday what do i know.

MIne is still f-ed up....

mines been like this since there was 10,000miles on it, be nice to see the needle on the right side after 3yrs...

my dads 06 started doing this last year its been reflashed new dash new sensor and still reads 300 rpm idle and is 700 or slow low as it sweeps . why couldnt they just keep the p pumps and say the hell with the computers

mine does this also. i would love to know what rpm I'm at seeing as I'm a 6 speed now
