new guy looking for a few anwsers
hey guys have posted a few threads since yesterday not much attention one about my mpgs and one about my converter if you all could give them a look and give me some input. but right now i am looking for some answers about this smoke switch i have been reading about. what is it how does it work, where do i get one
Smoke switch overides the MAP sensor. It then signals for more fuel to be dumped in the engine which produces the smoke. 3 bad ideas to it: 1. Poor fuel mileage, 2. Turns your truck into a mesquito killer (cops will harass you to), and 3. Soots up the engine big time (shortens the life dramatically). Also, it will throw your truck into limp mode, and the only way to get back to normal is clear the code. Which will suck if your miles away from a code scanner.
