I'm finally back in a truck!!! WooHoo!!!
 

Well, I picked this up a couple weeks ago. 04 SLT 4x4 HO auto truck with only 25000 miles on it. I love this color and it's just what I was looking for. Items I've added are the PowerWagon wheels w/ 35" BFG MTs, BHAF, Rokktech, and Van Aaken C3.2. Items that will be installed very soon include a custom full 4" exhaust and a turbo from a 600 truck. That should be it. I may or may not do guages. I'm only running my VA box on the low setting so with the bigger exhaust and better turbo I don't think I really "need" them. Anyways, I feel like I have my balls back now that I have a truck again. I'm still driving my Ford Taurus as my commuter car as long as it is running but the truck is for everything else...

The bad economy forced me to sell the 08 6.7 truck. It was a sad day but at least I sold it pretty quick.

nice, i love my 04.5, even though it has close to triple the miles, and not quite as clean :argh:

I love the look of the big tires but I think I'm gonna have to drop down to some 285s quickly. Mileage sucks with these things on here......

Well, it is really nice but the 25000 miles were definitely not easy miles. Lots of chips on the door edges and sills. The Ventvisors looked as if someone were totally drunk when they put them on so I had to pull them off and reinstall them. The tailgate is kind of beat up and the underside of the truck is really dirty. This was definitely a farm vehicle. The interior is very nice but the heating vents are full of dust and dirt so you smell it everytime you turn the heat on. I don't know what I can do there short of pulling the whole heater system out and cleaning it up. (Not gonna happen:w2:...) I just spray lots of Febreze so that usually masks any other odors. I'm still very happy with it:U:.....

i just cleaned out mine, plenty of mcdonalds fries in between the seats, i am the 3rd owner as well
my heat vents smell like diesel :argh:
even mine is a lil beat, especially in the bed, it has a gooseneck, but lots of paint chips, other than that truck has nothing else bad body wise, 1 1in dent on rear bumper, noticable, but for what auto body shops want to fix it, its not worth it

I picked up my 04.5 back in the beginning of december.. 50k 6spd.. old tymer truck.. just wat i was looking for... 2 small dings in the back and a dent in the bumper other than that... it was straight as an arrow.. a little dusty from going down gravel driveways, but i got her all cleaned up now... I love this truck... alot more than i thought having a father whom HATES dodges...

Did you do the swap? if so, what did you notice in power gains? good? bad?

I haven't done it yet. I am waiting for the turbo to arrive and I plan on installing it along with my full 4" exhaust...
