Default Running rough at 60-65 mph....

My truck is running rough at 60-65 mph. It almost feels like it is down a cylinder, but seems to run fine above 70 mph. The only mods I have are a Diablo Powerpuck and S&B Cold Air Intake. When I switch the Powerpuck to the stock setting, the problem goes away. I had a new factory "in tank" lift pump installed under warranty prior to the mods being installed. Anybody had any similar issues?

Yeah, at first I thought I had a tire issue, but when I switch back to the stock setting, the problem goes away. I did notice when I shut the truck down at a rest stop for a couple hour cat nap, it idled rough when I started it. I'm thinking it may be a dirty fuel filter, but that doesn't explain the issue going away at higher speeds. I pretty much cruise at 70-75 mph and 75% of my 93K miles are all highway miles as I do a roundtrip of 1800 miles every month from North Carolina to Louisiana. I put in a full quart of fuel treatment to see if it clears up the problem, but have only run through a half tank so far.

Sounds like a possible bad Power Puck. Did it just start happening?

I just noticed it within the last week... I'm fairly certain it's the puck as symptoms go away on stock setting. Just wanted to see if anyone else had similar issues.

Just got off the Diablosport website after looking into their online help forum. Seems the majority of issues relating to Powerpucks are exactly the same situation I have. The 04 and 04.5 trucks are a problem of simply getting the correct Puck for your application. From what I read, exchanging Pucks to the correct one cures 90-95% of the problems. Even the Diablosport tech guys don't always recommend the correct Puck. It depends on the build date of an 04 Dodge-difference being a 4th quarter 03 build date and a 1st quarter 04 build date. Anyway, I'm hoping I'm on my way to a cure soon. Just wanted to pass it on for any future issues.

I'm thinking it might be a good idea to post this elsewhere to help some fellow bombers in need....

I just pulled my power puck out of my 05 for the same reason and I would have to slip the clutch taking off from a stop or it would almost stall, took it out and runs fine

check out Diablosports forum on their website-good chance it will help you find the right puck for your rig. What's the part# on your's? I know I want to get the right one back in there ASAP as it made a world of difference power and milage wise.

You will notice a gain with the Puck. Either you had a bad connection or a bad puck.
