Well my truck finally is broke I think!? When I full throttle it it shifts into second and stays there?? I have to let up on the pedal to get it to shift?? Any Ideas?? I do have a BD valve body Help!!

 

It only do it under full throttle??

 

Yup If i drive normal it shifts perfect only when I'm on it or hauling a heavy load does it not shift?! Any Ideas??

 

how long has the valve body been in the truck?

 

It's been in for about 6 months! about 6000 miles.

 

Mine buddy's 03 was doing that and it was the gov. pressure solenoid

 

Gov. pressure solenoid and sensor.

 

The DTB As per Dodge says the main Symptoms in replacing the Governor pressure Solenoid, is "Hunting for 1st and second gear under light throttle" So im not sure if this will fix your issue... Iyt almost sounds like you might ahve a possible clutch pack issue in the transmission.

 

Mine didn't hunt....it stayed stuck in 2nd and would not shift.
