Personal Fuel Economy with EZ
I don't know if anyone else has noticed this or not, but I have an Edge EZ on my truck. I had been running it on setting 1 (25 hp) and we get around 16.5 mpg in town. A month ago I turned it up to setting 2 (45 hp) and after several tanks we averaged around the 17.2mpg mark. That got me thinking, so the last few weeks I have had it on setting 3 (65 hp) and we have been getting a consistant 18.2 mpg in town. This really surprises me since the setting 1 is suppose to be the fuel economy setting. What I have noticed though is the transmission shifts a little sooner maybe which keeps the rpm's down. Anybody else notice this with their Edge EZ?

when i had an ez on mine it was on 3 from the day i figured out what it was lol
was getting 18-20 mpg |
I had an EZ and it was a good all round unit but it had one setting and thats it
are you talking of the edge comp with 4 settings???? |
no edge ez
ya take cover off and move the jumper for the 3 levels :U: |
My EZ only had one level. :U: Don't know about this choosing of levels stuff. Since you have a 3rd gen I don't know how much yours is different but on the 24v EZ the difference between the 1st and 3rd levels is only 5 horse. The difference is mainly the aggresiveness. I put it on level 3 and forgot about it. and I could also pull 18-19 MPG. Though not in town. Too many wannabe's.:U:

For the '06, it has a toggle switch that always you to switch the setting from 25, 45, and 65 hp.
