Drive slower...the best programmer can't overcome wind resistance.

My sweet spot is 55mph...I can pull low 20s with 4.10s...

These seem to be very popular for a fuel mileage increase.

With a manual, if you are purely looking for better mileage, then I think the best upgrade would be boost and pyro gauges.

Driving habits alone are good for 1-3 MPG in town. The best mileage will be obtained in 6 gear at about 40-45 MPH. According to the computer, its about 40 MPG!
Otherwise, keep the RPMS, boost AND pyro temps all as low as possible while you are in high gear, and you will get the best mileage.
The best gear to be in is determined by the pyro temp. If you downshift and the temps go lower, then you were in too high of a gear.
Now if you do most of your driving on the highway, slowing down will give yo the biggest benefit. A mileage box might get you a little better mileage, but it most likely won't even be that noticeable, and it will take a long time to recoup your investment, while gauges are always a good idea on a diesel:U:
