Paint Help

Short story. Wife took the Dually to WALLY MART, and backed into a yellow pole. Broke tail light, and left a lot of yellow pole paint on the rear fender. Scratches are not to deep, Did not crack the fender, thank goodness. Question? What is the best way to get the Yellow paint off a Silver truck?

Try wd40 and a rag. If not might have to use a buffer and a light compound I'm guessing

You got lucky! Years ago, my bride took out the whole right fender on my dually.....also at a Walmart! Bought her a smart car after that!
I agree with the buffer and rubbing/ polishing compound technique. Go softly with it so you don't burn through the clearcoat. Good luck. :c:

OK. Thanks guys, but I think before I use a buffer I will give it a try by hand. Years ago I used a buffer, and it kind of got away from me, and had to have a trunk repainted. DAD was not a happy man. LOL
